India is still a developing country why? and what? is stopping it from being a developed country? India’s educational system is a stumbling stone towards its objectives of delivering quality education. Nearly 90 million people joining the workforce, but most of them lack adequate skills and the mindset for productive employment. India has about 550 million people under the age of 25 years out of which only 11% are enrolled in tertiary institutions compared to the world average of 23%.

India seems to be getting caught in a vicious circle, where un- affordability of private schools leaves no option but that of government schools where poor quality of education prevails. As a result Distance Education System came in to massive existence and in last few years lot many recognized universities started their Distance Learning Programs which enabled students to get educated in their preferred field of education.
